Room: Clean and well maintained. No issues seen. Breakfast: Very good with a lot of items to choose from in the breakfast buffet. They also have an omelet station at the buffet. Hot water: No issues Air condition: Worked well and not noisy. I had forgotten my leather jacket in the wardrobe. Had called the property after about a week (Since I had travelled to a warmer place, I did had not checked / looked for my jacket till I was packing to go to a colder place. Hence, the week long delay in realizing that I had forgotten my jacket) later and they said they have it with them and I made arrangements for it to be collected. Thanks to the Hotel. Location: The location was good. Close to night food stalls and also street shopping. Safe to walk around at night.

Chiang Mai Gate Hotel was very quiet and comfortable. There are some restaurants nearby including a funky vegan/vegetarian one in a side street. There are laundrettes nearby to get washing done or do your own if you are there for a couple of days. Chiang Mai Gate Hotel is outside the old town part. Although reasonably close, it is across a couple of busy roads and a bit of a walk to get there. Staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was extensive with plenty of choice for hot and cold foods. It was also very reasonably priced if it wasn't included in the price of your room.

Another great find. Very nice, large hotel, with an outdoor pool. Room was comfortable, as was bed. Well equipped, kettle and couple chairs, as most hotels only have one chair. Had a balcony with our room , 532, but it’s in the shade all day. Breakfast is good, plenty of choices, including an omelette station. Room had a really good shower.

Richard

Great location, happy helpful staff, we actually stayed twice - once in the newer deluxe rooms and the other on the older side. We actually preferred the older side as it felt more of a Thai experience. Very clean throughout and great breakfast all for a good price - thank you.

Garry

We had a Lanna room which was a good size with a huge bed. The breakfast was good, big choice of Thai and Western, and eggs cooked to your request. Location is good, short walk to a open air food market and one of the gates into the old city to visit all the temples.
